Good day, Hivers!! Wishing you all a good Sunday. Today I'm going to share my experience on our one-day trip to Sam Remegio, and know that we are from Liloan.
Attending the 60th birthday of our uncle and slash a little reunion getaway with the side of my mother. Why a little reunion? It's because they live in Bogo and we live in Liloan, so it's a bit far, and we rarely see and bond with each other because of how busy our lives are.
The celebration of our uncle will start at lunchtime. They made it that time, so that we still have time to travel. That time I was at my cousin's house having a sleepover, so they just gave me a dress so I could have clothes to wear. We plan to wear a dress at that time because they want to see me wear it. Note that I haven't been fond of wearing dresses since I was a child; it's just that I'm not really comfortable wearing them. But I do wear a dress sometimes, it's just that on any special occasion. Haha.
This is me wearing a dress.haha
We wake up early in the morning so we have a lot of time to prepare. They wake us up at 5 am in the morning, and at 7 am we start travelling so we can arrive early and have a little catch-up.
Upon going there, we didn't want to sleep because it's still near and our energy is still up. So we had a car ride, put on some music, and sang along with it. We all sing along, including my other cousins and aunties. Took some videos of us having that bond because it's just a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
When we're near, we don't know where the beach is located, and we Google Map it, and we think it's not the right place because the path is so small and there are no people walking in the streets. It's like a haunted street. Haha. But then we still followed the map's direction, and luckily we arrived at our destination safely.
The beach was so nice at that moment. We regret we didn't bring backup clothes. We thought the beach that day was not that nice, so we didn't bring any clothes. We really regret it, so we just put our feet to the sea and took a lot of pictures so we can look back up to it soon.
Here are some photos of us enjoying the moment and diverting our attention and mind from the fact that we can't go swimming.
After all that picture taking, catch up with the aunties and other cousins, and we all are complete. They start the celebration now, have some little birthday wishes, and after that we start eating since it's lunchtime already.
Afterwards, we mind our own business and do some things that can entertain us while my aunts and uncles have their own fun. Some of them are doing some singing and dancing sessions while some of my uncles have some drinks and play tong-its. While we keep ourselves entertained, we just stroll on the beach and find some cute shells and small crabs. It's so satisfying to get them and put them in our hands. Haha.
As the sun keeps on shining, we just sit beside the shore and talk things over with my cousins. Share all the stories that we need to catch up on and laugh at all the embarrassing moments we had when we were little.
When the sea starts to lower its tide, we walk and find any crabs and fishes we can catch. Laugh with each other because I don't want to get the crab because I'm a bit scared it might bite me. We know that we can't catch the fish because of how fast they swim, but still, we make our hopes up. It's like the bond we shared heals our inner child.
When it's 4 in the afternoon, we start bidding our goodbyes to each other because we don't want to stay overnight there. After all, it's not in the plan. My uncle, who drives the van, is so fast, and we just laughed around with it because we don't want to scare ourselves. We go along with the music, vibing with the music, while our inner selves are a little bit scared at that time. Luckily, we arrived safely at their house and rested ourselves.
An unforgettable moment of our one-day trip to San Remegio is so worth keeping in our minds. See you on my next blog. Adios! Mwah๐ SPREAD LOVE AND POSITIVITY!!โก
