A Moment For Saint Theresa
Usually, when we talk about the Santa Teresa parish in Caracas, what comes to mind is the Santa Teresa Church and the Nazareno de San Pablo, but we do not realize that this parish has in its interior important old buildings dating from the colony. In the same way that the city is also developing, we find modern buildings that are mixed with past times.

Un Momento Por Santa Teresa
Usualmente, cuando se habla de la parroquia Santa Teresa en Caracas, lo que nos viene a la mente es la Iglesia Santa Teresa, y el Nazareno de San Pablo, pero no nos damos cuenta de que esta parroquia cuenta en su interior con importantes edificaciones antiguas que datan desde la colonia. En la misma forma que la ciudad se va desarrollando también, encontramos edificaciones modernas que se mezclan con épocas pasadas.
Today I went a little deeper into the parish, I was looking for a historic site to take my street photos, unfortunately it was closed. But destiny prepared new paths for me, I was wandering through the streets and I was able to capture images of houses that are approximately 100 years old, being able to observe their deteriorated structures, but maintaining the vestige of their architecture. A characteristic of the time were the narrow streets and corners, designed for the passage of horse-drawn carts, and some places I passed through still preserve these original places.
Hoy me adentré un poco más en la parroquia, estaba buscando un sitio histórico para tomar mis fotos callejeras, lamentablemente estaba cerrado. Pero el destino me preparó nuevos caminos, estuve rondando por sus calles y fue así como pude captar imágenes de casas que tienen aproximadamente 100 años, pudiendo observar sus estructuras deterioradas, pero mantienen el vestigio de su arquitectura. Una característica de la época eran las calles y esquinas estrechas, pensadas para los pasos de las carretas con caballos, y algunos lugares por donde pase conservan estos sitios originales.
The Parish has the National Theater, considered Cultural Heritage and National Monument, has the capacity to present shows, plays, operas, among others. With its 150 years of foundation, the Santa Teresa Parish is very important for the stories that enclose its old buildings, but the reality forces the governmental entities to recover all its structures, spaces and houses to be able to tell those stories, that surely its inhabitants would like to tell them.
La Parroquia tiene el Teatro Nacional, considerado Patrimonio Cultural y Monumento Nacional, tiene la capacidad para presentar espectáculos, obras de teatro, operas, entre otros. Con sus 150 años de fundada, la Parroquia Santa Teresa, se muestra con mucha importancia por las historias que encierran sus edificaciones antiguas, pero la realidad obliga a los entes gubernamentales a recuperar todas sus estructuras, espacios y viviendas para poder contar esas historias, que de seguro sus habitantes las quien contar.
