Hello! How are you? Doing digital art is my kind of healing this week, add to that the weather is gloomy and rainy, perfect time to draw, and the weather is cold, perfect. I've been on good terms with my graphic tablet lately, I am enjoying its company, and she is working so hard, which makes me happy because she will be meeting her new owner soon, LOL, that person is my cousin, LOL.
I've been manifesting so hard for the couple of weeks, I am just waiting for a tiny, tiny bit of a sign. I've been eyeing something that is giving me a sign to do it already, so yeah. For my fan art today, I drew Forest Healer, one of my favorites, and then I added Miu Miu too, as a mask, which I like the idea of.
I've been doing to sketching where the highlights and shadows lately, and I am liking it so far, making it easier to see where to add those shadows and highlights. So I used the marker detail brush to draw the line art, and then I made sure the stabilization of the brush is set too.
For this part, I used the shape fill tool brush to add the base color, and to achieve a clean base color is I turned on the stabilization of the brush. And I make sure to make each part have its layer. To make the rendering easier later.
For this part, I use the shape fill tool again to add the shadows and highlights, and then I added texture to the canvas too, and then I fill the background with gray to tone up the canvas.
After that, I lower the opacity of the line art so that I can fix some of the imperfections in it, and I am not dependent on the line art, so she is no longer needed, LOL.
For this part, I decided to add a gradient from dark to light red as my background. I started to add more intense shadows to the character.
For this part, I completely turn down the line art opacity, and I will start adding more detail to the character, fixing some errors and minimal imperfections.
For the final progress, what I do is to add glowing wings as an extra design, and then the bokeh of light too, and then just do the process I did earlier.
