Are you ready for what lies ahead?

I think we can all agree that 2021 is proving to be a spectacular year for the crypto space. We have been making headlines almost on a daily basis for months now, with payment giants, corporations, central banks and influential individuals getting genuinely interested and making positive public statements about the cryptocurrency industry and the possibilities it offers.

We have witnessed tremendous growth so far and there's probably a lot more to come, as Q2 has just begun. Market sentiment is a quite reliable predictor of market moves, and the vast majority of crypto investors believe we are gearing up for a massive run in the following months. Combine that with the ever-increasing demand for crypto as the game keeps attracting major attention, and there you have it. A rally of epic proportions you couldn't have imagined. It's possible and likely.

But can we even make predictions this time around? It seems that many investors expect BTC to climb all the way up to $100k or higher, Ethereum to hit $10k etc, and those are probably some of the boldest assumptions being made at the moment. Some experienced investors, like Marc De Mesel for instance, speak in terms of total crypto market cap, based on a number of technical factors that do sound quite reasonable.

I enjoyed his latest video by the way, which is super-bullish and offers valuable insights into the mind of a man who has been killing the investing/trading business for years, and so it's definitely worth your time in my opinion. Marc knows a hell of a lot more about the crypto business than I do, and I basically agree with everything he says in the video. However, I believe that the crypto game has proven again and again that it's very unpredictable.

Things change very fast in crypto, and some of the best-performing assets always manage to exceed all expectations we could ever have. Who could have thought five years ago that we would be talking about a crypto market capitalization of $2.2 trillion in 2021? Who could have thought in 2009 that BTC would hit $60k one day? Hell, who could have thought fuckin' Dogecoin would be swinging around the $0.35 mark?

This stuff is insane. The crypto game is insane, so just save it this time around. Don't even try to predict anything. You will be proven wrong, and the whole world will inevitably be stunned once again by BTC and competition. This is my only prediction for the upcoming rally, and I do realize that I could be wrong, but that's exactly the kind of vibe I'm getting this time. I believe that the next rally will make all previous peaks and dips look flat.

The blockchain technology is already making a huge difference in the lives of many, enabling the people to generate and accumulate more wealth, and this will undoubtedly create a domino effect of awareness and adoption. More and more people discover what they have been missing out on as the minutes go by, and considering the fact that the vast majority of internet users don't have a clue about crypto yet, I think it's safe to assume that we are still in the beginning.

Just like the internet unified the different ways in which we communicate, the internet of money will eventually reshape the way we communicate value to each other and perform transactions on a global scale. When the internet first came out, it was only for the nerds. Literally. I mean you needed programming knowledge in order to be able to access and browse the web before the creation of the Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP). The masses stood no chance and weren't even interested.

Does that sound familiar? The way I see it, doing crypto in 2021 is the equivalent of browsing the web before HTTP was even a thing. We haven't peaked yet. To the contrary, we are just getting started. This is just one of the reasons why I believe crypto will keep shocking the world in the years to come, and it's a quite persuasive one, don't you agree? In my humble opinion, nobody can predict the storm that's coming.

What about you? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

I appreciate your attention.

Alright guys, that's it for now. Thank you for taking the time to read these lines.

Just my two cents. This is by no means financial advice. Just sharing my personal views and experiences. Please do not take my word for your investment choices, and always do your own research.
