I'm thrilled to present my latest fan art of Naara, reimagined in a humanized anime style.
¡Hola a todos! Soy Lorentm, una artista digital apasionada por convertir la fantasía en color y la imaginación en forma. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una obra muy especial inspirada en uno de los adorables personajes de la increíble comunidad de @holozing. A toda la comunidad de Holozing—¡hola! Estoy muy emocionada de presentarles mi más reciente fan art de Naara, reinventada en un estilo anime y humanizado.
Naara has always struck me as a character full of warmth and forest magic. When I started working on this drawing, my day had been a bit chaotic—spilled coffee, a power outage, and even a sneaky cat who tried to walk on my tablet! But once I began sketching Naara, everything quieted down. Her gentle, woodland energy wrapped around me like a peaceful breeze, and I felt completely immersed in her world.
Naara siempre me ha parecido un personaje lleno de calidez y magia del bosque. Cuando comencé a trabajar en este dibujo, mi día había sido un poco caótico—¡derramé café, hubo un corte de luz y hasta mi gato intentó caminar sobre mi tableta! Pero una vez empecé a bocetear a Naara, todo se calmó. Su energía suave y silvestre me envolvió como una brisa pacífica, y me sentí completamente inmersa en su mundo.
Naara, in this version, takes the form of a cheerful forest spirit, reimagined as a chibi anime girl. Her deer-like ears and antler-like headband adorned with small flowers are a tribute to her origins in the forest. I chose warm autumnal tones—brown, orange, and leaf green—to keep her connected to nature. Her hair fades from a deep chestnut to a glowing green, adding vibrancy and magic to her look.
Naara, en esta versión, toma la forma de un alegre espíritu del bosque, reinventada como una chica chibi estilo anime. Sus orejas de ciervo y la diadema con astas decoradas con pequeñas flores son un homenaje a sus orígenes forestales. Elegí tonos cálidos de otoño—marrón, naranja y verde hoja—para mantener su vínculo con la naturaleza. Su cabello se degrada de un castaño profundo a un verde brillante, lo que añade vitalidad y un toque mágico a su apariencia.
Her outfit is crafted to look like it’s made of leaves and petals. The layered dress, with each section mimicking forest foliage, gives her a soft, organic look. The large bow on her chest and the tiny floral details on her waist enhance her sweetness. Her shoes are shaped like little deer hooves, finishing the look with whimsy and charm.
Su atuendo está diseñado para parecer hecho de hojas y pétalos. El vestido en capas, con cada sección imitando el follaje del bosque, le da una apariencia suave y orgánica. El gran lazo en su pecho y los pequeños detalles florales en su cintura acentúan su dulzura. Sus zapatos tienen forma de pequeñas pezuñas de ciervo, completando el look con un toque de fantasía y encanto.
Process / Proceso
Everything began with a sketch. I kept the lines soft and playful, letting my imagination flow freely as I shaped Naara’s form. The challenge was capturing both her animal-like innocence and her vibrant, lively personality in a humanized version. I kept giggling while drawing her antlers—my cat actually tried to "attack" the screen, probably thinking it was a toy!
Todo comenzó con un boceto. Mantuve las líneas suaves y juguetonas, dejando que mi imaginación fluyera libremente mientras daba forma a Naara. El desafío era capturar tanto su inocencia animal como su personalidad vibrante y vivaz en una versión humanizada. No podía dejar de reír mientras dibujaba sus astas—¡mi gato incluso intentó "atacar" la pantalla, probablemente pensando que era un juguete!
Once the sketch felt right, I moved to the lineart. I refined the contours with a clean and slightly dynamic stroke to give her a sense of movement. I wanted the lines to convey her lightness and energy, especially in her hair and the leaf-like dress. Every curve and curl had to reflect her playful spirit.
Una vez que el boceto estuvo listo, pasé al delineado. Refiné los contornos con un trazo limpio y ligeramente dinámico para darle una sensación de movimiento. Quería que las líneas transmitieran su ligereza y energía, especialmente en el cabello y el vestido en forma de hojas. Cada curva y cada rizo tenían que reflejar su espíritu juguetón.
Coloring her was pure joy. I experimented with blending warm and cool greens in her hair to create that magical glow. I used a soft palette to emphasize her friendly and serene nature, giving special attention to the way light interacts with her natural surroundings.
Colorearla fue una pura alegría. Experimenté con la mezcla de verdes cálidos y fríos en su cabello para crear ese brillo mágico. Usé una paleta suave para resaltar su naturaleza amigable y serena, prestando especial atención a cómo la luz interactúa con su entorno natural.
Then came the shadows. I imagined the dappled light of a forest canopy above her, adding soft shadows under her arms and leaves to give her volume and depth. This step felt very meditative—I had some forest ambience music playing in the background, which helped me feel even more immersed in the scene.
Luego vinieron las sombras. Imaginé la luz moteada del dosel del bosque sobre ella, agregando sombras suaves bajo sus brazos y hojas para darle volumen y profundidad. Este paso fue muy meditativo—tenía música ambiental de bosque de fondo, lo cual me ayudó a sentirme aún más inmersa en la escena.
Highlights came next, and this is where the magic truly popped. I added subtle gleams to her eyes, hair tips, and the edges of her leafy dress. These tiny light touches gave her that final spark of life. It’s always my favorite part—it’s when the character feels like she’s truly "alive."
Después vinieron los brillos, y aquí es donde la magia realmente resalta. Añadí destellos sutiles en sus ojos, las puntas del cabello y los bordes de su vestido de hojas. Estos pequeños toques de luz le dieron esa chispa final de vida. Siempre es mi parte favorita—es cuando el personaje parece estar realmente “vivo.”
Finally, the background. I wanted to keep the focus on Naara, so I painted a soft, misty forest scene with blues and purples, framing her with large silhouettes of trees. It’s like she’s stepping out from her magical world to greet us.
Finalmente, el fondo. Quise mantener el enfoque en Naara, así que pinté una escena de bosque suave y brumosa con azules y violetas, enmarcándola con grandes siluetas de árboles. Es como si estuviera saliendo de su mundo mágico para saludarnos.
Creating this piece was an incredibly heartwarming experience. Naara’s essence truly inspired me, and I feel like I got to know her better through this process. I laughed, relaxed, and fully enjoyed every step of bringing her to life.
Crear esta obra fue una experiencia realmente conmovedora. La esencia de Naara me inspiró profundamente, y siento que llegué a conocerla mejor a través de este proceso. Reí, me relajé y disfruté plenamente cada paso para darle vida.
