As a digital artist, I’m always seeking ways to merge creativity with emotion, and today I’m beyond excited to share one of my latest pieces with you all. Hello everyone, I’m Lorentm and welcome to my art blog! This time, I wanted to continue contributing to the @holozing community by creating a fan art of the female Ocean Healer character, portrayed in a delicate anime-inspired style.
There’s something incredibly serene and mysterious about this character. I imagined her as a gothic healer, silent and wise, someone who carries the essence of the sea not only in her magic but also in her soul. Her look evokes a sense of calm sorrow and gentle strength, which inspired me deeply throughout the creation process. With this piece, I continue expanding my newest collection, part of the artistic initiative promoted by @acidyo, which encourages artists to create themed series. This marks my third character in a gothic-style healer collection, and I’m loving every moment of bringing them to life.
Como artista digital, siempre estoy en búsqueda de formas para fusionar creatividad con emoción, y hoy estoy muy emocionada de compartir con ustedes una de mis obras más recientes. ¡Hola a todos! Soy Lorentm y les doy la bienvenida a mi blog de arte. En esta ocasión, quise seguir aportando a la comunidad de @holozing con un fan art del personaje female Ocean Healer, representada con un estilo delicado y lleno de inspiración anime.
Hay algo increíblemente sereno y misterioso en este personaje. Me la imaginé como una sanadora gótica, silenciosa y sabia, alguien que lleva la esencia del mar no solo en su magia sino también en su alma. Su apariencia evoca una calma melancólica y una fuerza suave, lo cual me inspiró profundamente durante el proceso creativo. Con esta obra, continúo expandiendo mi nueva colección, parte de la iniciativa artística promovida por @acidyo, que invita a los artistas a crear series temáticas. Este es mi tercer personaje en esta colección de sanadores con estética gótica, y estoy disfrutando cada instante al darles vida.
The Ocean Healer is draped in a flowing gothic gown, adorned with delicate lace and elegant ruffles. Her dark dress contrasts beautifully with her pale skin and icy blue hair, which falls in a sharp, straight bob that frames her face perfectly. She wears a headpiece decorated with seashells and starfish, symbolizing her deep connection to the ocean’s energy. Her choker and bodice are embroidered with black lace, adding both mystique and elegance to her presence.
At the center of her dress lies a glowing emblem resembling a water swirl—an unmistakable sign of her healing powers. The sheer black veil resting on her head flows gently behind her, evoking the sensation of deep-sea currents. Her eyes, filled with melancholy, reflect a vastness as infinite as the ocean itself. Every detail, from her layered sleeves to the intricate patterns in the background, was chosen to enhance the ethereal and gothic atmosphere that surrounds her.
La Ocean Healer está vestida con una fluida túnica gótica adornada con encajes delicados y volantes elegantes. Su vestido oscuro contrasta maravillosamente con su piel clara y su cabello azul hielo, que cae en un corte bob recto y definido que enmarca su rostro a la perfección. Lleva una diadema decorada con conchas marinas y estrellas de mar, símbolos de su profunda conexión con la energía del océano. Su gargantilla y corsé están bordados con encaje negro, lo que le añade un aire de misterio y elegancia.
En el centro de su vestido se encuentra un emblema brillante en forma de espiral acuática, un símbolo inconfundible de sus poderes curativos. El velo negro semitransparente que descansa sobre su cabeza fluye suavemente hacia atrás, evocando la sensación de las corrientes marinas profundas. Sus ojos, llenos de melancolía, reflejan una inmensidad tan infinita como el propio océano. Cada detalle, desde las mangas en capas hasta los patrones intrincados del fondo, fue elegido para resaltar la atmósfera etérea y gótica que la rodea.
Process / Proceso
Every artwork starts with a sketch, and for this one, I focused on establishing her expression and posture. I wanted her stance to be calm but firm, and her eyes to carry both emotion and mystery. The rough lines helped me block out the composition and visualize her character.
Once I had the sketch, I moved on to inking the lines with clean, confident strokes. This is where her silhouette really came to life. I paid extra attention to the details in the dress and accessories to ensure that everything felt cohesive and graceful.
The coloring phase is one of my favorites. I chose a palette of cold tones—navy, indigo, and teal—intertwined with soft light blues. This color scheme helped evoke the aquatic and gothic fusion I was aiming for, giving the character a magical aura.
After base colors, I added shadows to bring volume and form. I imagined the lighting as moonlight filtering through stained glass, which gave her a dramatic, otherworldly look. This step was crucial to convey depth and mood.
Then came the highlights. I carefully placed soft glows on her hair, the water emblem, and parts of her dress to create a sense of ethereal magic. The shine in her eyes was essential to make her feel alive and soulful.
Finally, I created the background. Inspired by cathedral windows and oceanic swirls, I designed a stained glass pattern that supported the character’s energy without overpowering her. The result is a setting that feels sacred, silent, and deeply connected to her essence.
Todo dibujo comienza con un boceto, y para este me enfoqué en establecer su expresión y postura. Quise que su actitud fuera serena pero firme, y que sus ojos transmitieran emoción y misterio. Las líneas sueltas me ayudaron a visualizar la composición general y a conectar con su carácter.
Una vez terminado el boceto, pasé al delineado con trazos más limpios y seguros. En esta etapa, su silueta realmente cobró vida. Presté especial atención a los detalles del vestido y los accesorios para asegurar que todo se sintiera armonioso y elegante.
La fase de color es una de mis favoritas. Elegí una paleta de tonos fríos como azul marino, índigo y verde azulado, combinados con azules más suaves. Esta gama de colores me ayudó a lograr esa fusión acuática y gótica que imaginaba, dándole al personaje un aura mágica.
Después del color base, añadí sombras para darle volumen y forma. Imaginé la iluminación como luz de luna atravesando vitrales, lo cual aportó un efecto dramático y etéreo. Este paso fue clave para transmitir profundidad y atmósfera.
Luego apliqué los brillos. Coloqué destellos suaves en su cabello, en el emblema de agua y en partes del vestido para dar la sensación de una magia etérea. El brillo en sus ojos fue fundamental para que se sintiera viva y con alma.
Finalmente, trabajé el fondo. Me inspiré en vitrales de catedrales y remolinos oceánicos para crear un diseño que reforzara la energía del personaje sin robar protagonismo. El resultado es un entorno que se siente sagrado, silencioso y profundamente conectado a su esencia.
Working on this piece was both challenging and incredibly fulfilling. It pushed me to explore new textures and moods, blending gothic elegance with oceanic mystery. I truly enjoyed imagining this character’s story and bringing her to life through every detail.

Trabajar en esta pieza fue tanto un reto como una experiencia muy enriquecedora. Me impulsó a explorar nuevas texturas y atmósferas, fusionando la elegancia gótica con el misterio del océano. Disfruté muchísimo imaginar la historia de este personaje y darle vida a través de cada detalle.
