Buonasera a tutti e ben ritrovati.
Approfittando, come succede molto spesso quando mi riesce di ritornare su queste pagine, di una lunga passeggiata, particolarmente piacevole viste le temperature estive odierne, eccomi rispuntare, dopo un'assenza di parecchi giorni, con un nuovo post, dedicato, in questo caso, al mondo di Splinterlands.
Purtroppo la realtà dei fatti, è che gli eventi che mi sono trovato ad affrontare negli ultimi mesi, a partire dalla malattia di mio padre, che ha portato, poi, alla sua dipartita, fino a tutte le successive complicazioni, tra procedure burocratiche per la successione, e discussioni varie, con mia sorella, legate all'eredità, non mi stanno certo concedendo molta serenità.
Non ho nemmeno fatto in tempo a ritrovare un po' di tranquillità, dopo aver finalmente lasciato un posto di lavoro che ormai mi era diventato insopportabile, a causa di un ambiente lavorativo oppressivo ed aggressivo, che rieccomi, di nuovo, di fronte ad una serie di accadimenti che mi hanno messo, nuovamente, di fronte ad un male oscuro che speravo di essermi lasciato definitivamente alle spalle.
Ovviamente sto cercando di combatterlo, e ogni tanto, nelle giornate migliori, cerco anche di ritornare su questa piattaforma, sulla quale mi dispiace di essere tornato a essere molto incostante, ma credo che il percorso sia ancora lungo, se non altro anche semplicemente per il fatto che, per completare tutti gli atti relativi a successione ed eredità, i tempi saranno decisamente piuttosto lunghi, e si parla già di qualche mese.
Se poi aggiungiamo il fatto che ci stiamo addentrando sempre di più verso la stagione estiva, che porterà, inevitabilmente, ad ulteriori problemi, dovuti al fatto che già mi immagino quanto avranno voglia di lavorare gli impiegati, statali e non, dei vari uffici ai quali dovrò rivolgermi, mi viene già da mettermi le mani nei capelli.
Che mi piaccia o meno la situazione, però, le cose funzionano così quando ci si trova ad affrontare certi avvenimenti, e, di conseguenza, posso solo cercare di stringere i denti e portare avanti il tutto nel migliore dei modi, sperando di concludere il prima possibile.
Scusandomi per le mie consuete divagazioni personali, dalle quali fin troppo spesso mi faccio prendere la mano, ed utilizzo anche come necessaria valvola di sfogo per non esplodere, direi, però, che ora è il momento di andare a parlare di Splinterlands, visto che è questo l'argomento centrale di questo mio post.
Per essere più precisi, come credo avrete già intuito sia dal titolo che dall'immagine iniziale, le motivazioni che mi hanno portato a scrivere queste mie poche righe, sono legate alla conquista di un livello di gioco che non mi riusciva di raggiungere da non so più nemmeno io quanto tempo, ormai, ovvero il Diamond I.
Ammetto in tutta sincerità, infatti, di essere rimasto addirittura molto sorpreso quando, finalmente, l'ho raggiunto, anche se, in tutta onestà, essendo arrivato a quello sottostante con un bel po' di giorni di anticipo rispetto al solito, dentro di me un po' ci speravo.
Inutile dire che, al di là della gioia legata al fatto di essere riuscito a raggiungere un traguardo che mi mancava da ormai tantissimo tempo, ero felice anche per i bauli ricevuti, che, in questo caso, erano dodici ceste Minor, nove di categoria Major, e, per concludere, tre di tipo Ultimate.
Restava, a questo punto, la curiosità di andare a scoprire cosa contenessero i suddetti, visto che la lega che avevo raggiunto mi avrebbe dovuto consentire di poter sperare in premi di un certo spessore, consoni al traguardo appena tagliato.
C'è da dire, però, dall'altro lato, che non vi nascondo che c'era anche un po' di paranoia, visto che il mio rating di vittorie, rispetto alle battaglie combattute, nonché la quantità di SPS che posseggo in staking, non erano poi così eccelsi, e probabilmente avrebbero potuto mettermi i bastoni tra le ruote, abbassando un po' le mie aspettative.
Alla fine, l'apertura degli scrigni ricevuti, mi ha messo di fronte a 12 Legendary Potion, 17 Alchemy Potion, 1115 Merits, che userò appena possibile per qualche confezione di carte dell'edizione Gladius, tre ricariche di energia, che sinceramente non mi interessavano un granchè, 17 Tokatag Conscript, una Giant Alpine Skink, tre Luceheim Demon, 15 Halaran Huntress e, per concludere, una bella carta epica, overo una copia di Night Reaper.
Nel complesso, quindi, una giornata che, se da un lato mi ha consentito di tornare a fasti di ormai vecchia memoria, che non raggiungevo da un bel po', dall’altro, come del resto un po' temevo, mi ha messo di fronte a rewards non particolarmente esaltanti, anche se, in fondo, sono comunque contento così.
Tanto più che, dopo l'arrivo della nuova edizione Conclave Arcane, sinceramente non mi aspettavo di riuscire ad arrivare così in alto, e la cosa mi ha sorpreso parecchio, anche se mi auguro che non rimanga un evento a sé stante, senza riuscire più di ripetermi.
Resta il fatto, comunque, che, mi possa piacere o meno, l'arrivo di nuove carte, seppure per il momento non è sembrato così sconvolgente per il mio gioco, ed anzi mi sono anche permesso di fare uno dei miei migliori exploit da parecchio tempo a questa parte, dovrà essere tenuto seriamente in considerazione dal sottoscritto.
Se vorrò cercare di continuare ad ottenere risultati del genere, infatti, dovrò per forza valutare il da farsi per rinforzare il mio mazzo attuale con un po' di "truppe fresche", anche se questo vorrà dire, inevitabilmente, che dovrò affrontare un piccolo investimento, che però, per il momento, ancora non so ne di quanto sarà, ne ho deciso come muovermi.
Mi sto riferendo al fatto che, momentaneamente, non so se procurarmi dei pacchetti, e lasciar decidere tutto alla sorte, sperando in qualche colpo particolarmente fortunato, o se mettere da parte un po' di fondi per andare all'acquisto di carte specifiche, sul mercato del gioco, visto che, fortunatamente, i prezzi attualmente sembrano essere in calo, tornando ad essere un po' più abbordabili rispetto ai giorni iniziali del lancio della nuova edizione, che, per l'occasione, erano schizzati alle stelle.

Good evening everyone and welcome back.
Taking advantage, as often happens when I get to return to these pages, of a long walk, particularly pleasant given today's summer temperatures, here I am, after an absence of several days, with a new post, dedicated, in this case, to the world of Splinterlands.
Unfortunately, the reality of the facts is that the events that I have found myself facing in recent months, starting with my father's illness, which then led to his passing, up to all the subsequent complications, including bureaucratic procedures for the succession, and various discussions, with my sister, related to the inheritance, are certainly not giving me much serenity.
I didn't even have time to find some peace of mind, after finally leaving a job that had become unbearable to me, due to an oppressive and aggressive work environment, that here I am again, faced with a series of events that have put me, once again, in front of a dark evil that I hoped to have left behind me for good.
Obviously I'm trying to fight it, and every now and then, on better days, I also try to return to this platform, on which I'm sorry to have returned to being very inconsistent, but I believe that the path is still long, if only simply for the fact that, to complete all the documents relating to succession and inheritance, the times will definitely be rather long, and we're already talking about a few months.
If we then add the fact that we are getting deeper and deeper into the summer season, which will inevitably lead to further problems, due to the fact that I can already imagine how much the employees, both state and non-state, of the various offices I will have to turn to will want to work, I already feel like tearing my hair out.
Whether I like the situation or not, however, things work like this when you find yourself facing certain events, and, consequently, I can only try to grit my teeth and carry on with everything in the best way possible, hoping to conclude as soon as possible.
Apologizing for my usual personal digressions, which I get carried away with all too often, and which I also use as a necessary outlet to avoid exploding, I would say, however, that now is the time to go and talk about Splinterlands, since this is the central topic of this post of mine.
To be more precise, as I think you may have already guessed from both the title and the initial image, the motivations that led me to write these few lines of mine are linked to the conquest of a game level that I had not been able to reach for I don't even know how long, now, namely Diamond I.
I admit in all sincerity, in fact, that I was actually very surprised when, finally, I reached it, even if, in all honesty, having arrived at the one below with quite a few days in advance compared to usual, inside me I was hoping a little.
Needless to say, beyond the joy of having managed to reach a goal that I had been missing for a very long time, I was also happy for the chests I received, which, in this case, were twelve Minor baskets, nine Major category, and, finally, three Ultimate type.
At this point, I was still curious to find out what the aforementioned contained, given that the league I had reached should have allowed me to hope for prizes of a certain size, in keeping with the goal I had just reached.
It must be said, however, on the other hand, that I will not hide from you that there was also a bit of paranoia, given that my win rating, compared to the battles fought, as well as the amount of SPS that I have in stake, were not that excellent, and probably could have put a spoke in my wheels, lowering my expectations a bit.
In the end, opening the chests received, I was faced with 12 Legendary Potions, 17 Alchemy Potions, 1115 Merits, which I will use as soon as possible for some packs of cards of the Gladius edition, three energy refills, which honestly did not interest me that much, 17 Tokatag Conscript, a Giant Alpine Skink, three Luceheim Demon, 15 Halaran Huntress and, to conclude, a nice epic card, namely a copy of Night Reaper.
Overall, therefore, a day that, on the one hand, allowed me to return to the glories of old memory, which I had not reached for a long time, on the other, as I feared a little, put me in front of rewards that were not particularly exciting, even if, deep down, I am still happy with it.
Especially since, after the arrival of the new Conclave Arcane edition, I honestly did not expect to be able to get so high, and it surprised me a lot, even if I hope that it does not remain an event in itself, without being able to repeat myself.
The fact remains, however, that, whether I like it or not, the arrival of new cards, even if for the moment it has not seemed so shocking for my game, and indeed I even allowed myself to make one of my best exploits in a long time, will have to be taken seriously into consideration by the undersigned.
If I want to try to continue to obtain results of this kind, in fact, I will necessarily have to evaluate what to do to reinforce my current deck with some "fresh troops", even if this will mean, inevitably, that I will have to face a small investment, which, however, for the moment, I still do not know how much it will be, nor have I decided how to proceed.
I am referring to the fact that, momentarily, I do not know whether to get some packs, and let everything decide to fate, hoping for some particularly lucky shot, or whether to put aside some funds to go to the purchase of specific cards, on the game market, since, fortunately, the prices currently seem to be falling, returning to being a little more affordable compared to the initial days of the launch of the new edition, which, for the occasion, had skyrocketed.
