It's summertime🌤🤽‍♀

I was invited to my friend's birthday party, intended for close family and friends. They decided to take a break from the bustling world and enjoy the day with just their families. I was thrilled because it meant I could also step away from teaching and my laptop screen, even if just for four hours; I had classes to teach later that evening. The last time I had visited this beach resort with friends was about eight years ago, and I noticed so many changes. There used to be only one pool, but now there are two. The first one is located in the center of the resort, while the second one is in a fantastic spot where you can see the beach while swimming.

The highlight of the gathering was the kids; they brought so much joy and energy as they splashed around in the pool. If the adults wanted to relax and escape the hectic world, why shouldn’t the kids have their fun too? They deserved a break from school and a chance to enjoy themselves.

When we arrived at the beachfront, only a few people were using the pool, and some were singing karaoke in the nearby cottages. The cottage situated right in front of the beach was occupied by other beachgoers. My friend had booked an open space near the pool so we could enjoy both the view and the water. When we got there, the sea was quite rough, and the wind was very strong; it felt like your hair could be blown away by the gusts. Fortunately, it didn’t rain, even though I had expected it might.

There are empty cottages behind, but that's a good thing because the resort isn't crowded with people. Otherwise, the kids would not have the pool to themselves.

Despite the strong wind, it didn’t dampen our spirits as we enjoyed a delicious meal together.

This is all the food I have for now, as this is just my starter. Later, I will get more food. There is plenty of food, but only a few people will be able to eat it all. 😁😎 There are also desserts such as macarons, cheesecake, and some brownies.

This beer is very cold and complements the food well. I just had one drink to quench my thirst.
And when there's a birthday, a cold beer is always present. So grab your beer!

If you take just a few steps away from the pool, you'll reach the beach. You can also dip into the seawater, but it wasn't advisable at that moment due to the strong waves and winds.

It was a truly wonderful celebration with friends and family, and witnessing a simple family's joy was the perfect way to spend Saturday.
