Hello Splinter Warriors!

I hope all of you are having a great time with this awesome game and playing on a daily basis while enjoying the thrill and building your card collection and stake. Well, with the Conclave Arcana fever rising, the whole Splinterlands community is pretty excited and vocal about this upcoming core card set.

The pre-sale of the upcoming Conclave Arcana card set is about to begin on 22nd April, so make sure to mark your calendars or set up a reminder. Especially if you are preparing to partake in the pre-sale. If you have read the official post about the Conclave Arcana pre-sale including all the details, you have seem how many changes they have made with the pre-sale system with this upcoming new edition, seems like the game has learned a lot from Chaos Legion card-set and after the successful sale of the previous Rebellion edition, they have thought even deeper and come out with new sale strategies that will protect the value of these cards while providing packs buyers multiple choices with not 1 but 4 different type of packs - Standard, Alchemy, Legendary and Starter packs. However, please note that starter packs will not be included in the pre-sale and will be available in the general sale. Anyway, I am also planning to enter the presale, but I'm yet to take my final decision, but whatever I decide, you guys will be the first to know!

Anyway, moving on, let us now look into lands and I know most of us are so pumped up with the upcoming Conclave Arcana Pre-Sale, but that doesn't mean we should ignore the most interesting part of splinterlands apart from playing, Lands. The Land expansion in Splinterlands is slowly building its authority and not to mention, many small and big players are showing interest in Lands and starting or boosting their journey in this segment of the game. Lands is an expansion to the original Splinterlands game, spreading its wings and enlarging the splinter universe. On lands, we can stake Splinterlands playable NFT cards along with DEC and other in-game items to produce in-game resources like Grain, Wood, Stone, Iron, SPS and Research. With the latest 1.75 Land update, 3 new resources have been added to Lands - Stone, Wood and Iron. Moreover, the Lands section also got a better upgraded UI/UX and new liquidity pools, including these 3 new resources.

Now, I have only 1 Land plot token, which was lying idle in my Splinterlands inventory for a while, but after the land 1.75 update, an interest again sparked in me and I decided to restart my land and start producing resources again. Now, after the update, many grain resource Land plots were automatically converted to one of the new resources introduced in the game, but mine stayed in Grain, which is good actually because Grain is the mother of all resources. No matter which resources you produce, you will always require Grain to feed your workers to be able to keep producing those resources, so keeping a stack of Grain will always be useful in the long term.

Now talking about my Land plot, it belongs to the Hamford region of the Great Lowlands and by rarity, it is a common rarity and Neutral Type land plot. The terrain of my Land plot is a Lake and because of its terrain type, my Land can produce Grain resources. When I first surveyed my land a while ago, I constructed a Grain Farm worksite on it, produced Grain for a while and also kept all my produced Grain in my wallet. By the time I stopped producing on my land, I had around 330k grain, which I recently locked intoa liquidity pool with DEC token, so that it doesn't just sit idle and start generating reward, even if it’s merely a fraction amount.

Anyway, recently, after the Lmd 1.75 Update kicked in, I again started producing resources on my Land plot and today, I have harvested my second production batch. Each production cycle requires a 7-day time period and at the end of the cycle, your produced resources become ready to harvest. Now, as you can see from the screenshot above, my Grain production has ended another cycle and is ready to be harvested and this time, I have produced a total of 49,721.642 grains from my Land Plot. I was literally waiting while keeping an eye on my Grain farm and as soon as it reached 100%, I immediately claimed my Grain and started reproducing Grain again soon after.

Now looking at the stats, my land has produced a total of 49,722.775 grains after the 7-day period. But before I can claim my Grain, I have to pay the Grain Tax and feed my workers first. Now, as you can see from the screenshot above, for my Grain production amount, I have to pay 4,972.277 Grain as Tax and another 22,601.261 Grain to feed my workers. Please note that I have to pay these charges before claiming the Grain production batch, that’s why keeping a stack of Grain always helps you and makes the process quicker. Anyway, after spending on these 2 charges, I finally got my Grain and excluding these two charges, my net profit was 22,149.237 Grain, which got added to my regional Grain balance. Now, I will be keeping it in my wallet for now and later pour it into the Grain-Dec pool to increase my earnings there.

Now, apart from using Grain to lock in liquidity pools, which you can choose to generate passive income from fee rewards, or you can also swap them for DEC. But moreover, you can also send them to another user or migrate your grain from one region to another, especially when your land plots in other regions need grain to feed their workers. But keep in mind that, whether you are transferring Grain from one region to another or sending it to another player account, a flat 12.5% transportation fee will be charged in your sending amount.

I hope you enjoyed reading my post about Land and my second batch of Grain Production. Please let me know your thoughts about this topic in the comment section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
