Hello Splinterlands lovers!
A great hype is building around the upcoming Conclave Arcana Presale and if you were not hiding in a cave, the news has most probably reached you already. Conclave Arcana is the sixth edition core card set in this game and after the Rebellion edition ruling the battleground for almost a year, the long-awaited CA edition cards are finally coming into existence. The presale started on 22nd April and will end on May 11 and while I am writing this post, there are only 8 days left for it to end. Now, like many of my fellow Splinterlands fans, I am also super excited about this upcoming card set and right now using my full capability to secure a good spot in the CA presale leaderboard, because the chase is real and the rewards are too awesome to resist. In this post, we will be taking a look at the stats of this ongoing presale. So, if you are interested in CA, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
Conclave Arcana, even before getting launched, has already become a hit and the ongoing presale is its live proof. This upcoming card set will claim its spot in the modern format immediately after launch and while it will team up with the previous Rebellion Edition, it will exclude the old Chaos Legion card set from the Modern format. With the introduction of Conclave Arcana cards in the game, a total of 82 entirely new core cards will be available, along with 9 airdrop cards that will be distributed later on.
Now, if we take a look at the presale stats, it has already made a record, as a total of 1.1 billion DEC / Credits worth of packs have already been sold out, which includes a total of 145,507 packs. In less than 11 days since it got released, it has already sold such a gigantic amount of packs and with another 8 days in hand, there is a possible chance of this presale going 100% sold out. This insane demand for CA packs is creating quite some hype on both Hive and X and literally, the topic has become the talk of the town.
With the Conclave Arcana Presale, Splinterlands has introduced many changes to the game and one of them is the new booster pack types. Till now, we have only 1 type of booster pack in this game - the Standard pack. But starting with Conclave Arcana, Splinterlands has introduced 3 more new booster pack types, which certainly have caught the eyes of the masses. Apart from the standard packs, we now have the Alchemy packs, Legendary packs and Starter packs - each containing its own unique traits and price. While the Standard pack will offer the same 5 sets of cards, including at least one of them being Rare or above, Alchemy will also have the same feature and additionally, minimum one card will be guaranteed gold foil in each Alchemy pack. Similarly, in Legendary packs, minimum one card will be guarantee legendary and lastly, the Starter packs will be only containing common and rare cards and not even gold foil cards, but they will be cheapest of them all costing only 1000 dec per pack, while Standard ones will cost 4000 dec, Alchemy 12,000 dec and Legendary packs 24,000 dec per pack. This new update gives players the chance to pick multiple options to choose that suit them best. Please note that among these 4 different pack types, Starter packs will not be available in presale and can be bought when the general sale begins.
Now, looking at the pre-sale stats of all three 3 different packs available, from the above screenshot, you can clearly see which pack is experiencing high demand. There were 500k standard packs available for sale in the presale event and 93,614 packs have already sold, which is 18.7% of the total amount. For Legendary packs, only 50k packs were available to be sold in presale and 8,768 packs have already been sold, which is 17.5% of the total presale supply. But so far, the Alchemy packs hold the main demand as among 100k packs being available for presale, 42,875 packs have already been sold, which is a whooping 42.9% of the total presale supply. It is because with the Alchemy packs comes the highest chance to get newly introduced Black Foil cards, with chances of getting one Black Foil card in every 80 Alchemy packs or 400 cards.
Now, moving on, let me talk about my participation in the presale while checking my current position on the CA presale Leaderboard. I got so carried away with this upcoming card set that I literally invested a major portion of my crypto wealth in this presale. I admit it is a pretty risky move and won’t advise anyone to do the same. I took one big risk and teamed up with one of my friends to chase the leaderboard and have bought a total of 834 Alchemy packs, which cost me 10 million and 8 thousand dec in total. Right now, I am in 23rd position in the leaderboard, as you can see from the screenshot above, and I lost my place from the top just yesterday, as the whales have started buying big time right now.
I wanted a secure a spot in the top 20, but at this point, I don't think I will be able to reclaim my spot. In fact, even the person currently in 20th position has bought over 11.6 million dec worth packs, which is a big gap from my position, so I can only imagine where the barrier will go to enter the top 20 just before the end of the CA presale. However, I will still be keeping an eye while trying to manage some more funds for one last try, because.. the chase is indeed real this time.
I hope you enjoyed reading my post about the ongoing Conclave Arcana Presale and about my participation. Please let me know your thoughts about CA in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
Thanks for visiting my post, hope we meet again!
