Very good morning my dear readers of the #hive community, happy Tuesday to all, I hope you are doing great and that, of course you are having an excellent and productive day, for those who are new here and still do not know me, I introduce myself, my name is Manuel and this is my blog where I share my artistic creations and a little more.
This time I come to bring you a work on one of the creatures of #holozing game as it is (Woolio), which is a kind of small goat or sheep with pointed horns that can resemble a large and hairy golden cloud, (Woolio) is the tank type creatures which can withstand many blows and attacks; and as a companion for this cute creature I decided to add the Healer of Light to her side, who has (Woolio) living within the boundaries of her ranch where she can run freely through the meadows and feed without being disturbed or attacked.
Muy buenos días mis queridos lectores y lectoras de la comunidad de #hive, feliz martes para todos, espero que se encuentren super bien y que, por supuesto estén teniendo un excelente y productivo día, para los que sean nuevos por aquí y aun no me conocen, pues me presento, mi nombre es Manuel y este es mi blog donde comparto mis creaciones artísticas y un poco más.
En esta oportunidad vengo a traerles una obra sobre una de las criaturas del juego de #holozing como lo es (Woolio), el cual es una especie de pequeña cabra u oveja con cuernos puntiagudos que se puede asemejar a una gran y peluda nube dorada, (Woolio) es de las criaturas de tipo tanque las cuales pueden resistir mucho golpes y ataques; y como acompañante para esta linda criatura decidí agregar a la Sanadora de la luz a su lado, la cual tiene viviendo a (Woolio) dentro de los linderos de su rancho donde puede correr libremente por los prados y alimentarse sin ser perturbada o atacada.
PROCESS / PROCESO
For the sketch my idea was clear, I wanted to give the idea that the creature (Woolio) is standing at 2 on the fence of the ranch where he lives, and next to her standing would be the Healer of the light, which of course I gave a look or appearance a little more cowboy with hat and all. In this opportunity I wanted to start with the coloring of the creature, for which I used a wide range of yellow and orange tones as a base, I started using the airbrush to build some oval volume giving shape to the front legs which would be resting on the wooden fence; then with the airbrush and another brush I used to paint clouds I was building a texture and wool fur, here obviously I had to scale a little more shades to achieve a full shiny fur.
Para el boceto mi idea era clara, quería dar la idea de que la criatura (Woolio) se encuentra parada a 2 en la cerca del rancho donde vive, y junto a ella parada estaría la Sanadora de la luz, a la cual por supuesto le di un look o apariencia un poco mas vaquera con sombrero y toda la cosa. En esta oportunidad quise empecé con el coloreado de la criatura, para la cual utilice una amplia gama de tonos amarillos y naranjas como base, empecé usando el aerógrafo para construir cierto volumen ovalado dándole forma a las patas delanteras las cuales estarían apoyadas sobre la cerca de madera; luego con el aerógrafo y otro pincel que use para pintar nubes fui construyendo una textura y pelaje de lana, aquí obviamente tuve que escalar un poco mas las tonalidades para logra un pelaje full brilloso.
In the second stage of the coloring process I was busy building and painting the Healer of Light, in the case of the skin I used more reddish tones with peach, pink and a little red for the warmth in the cheeks; then for the eyes I used more yellowish tones and I tried to create a tender look and also a fixed smile on the little one (Woolio) that is next to her. For the clothes I used brown, gray and a little bit of light yellow tones to create a cowboy outfit according to what I had in mind, for the legs I created a brown pants like jeans, and for the torso I created a light denim shirt with golden details characteristic of this Healer. As a complementary accessory for the Healer I used yellow tones again to create a big cowboy hat on her head to match the style of the character.
En la 2da etapa del proceso de coloreado me ocupe ya construir y pintar a la Sanadora de la luz, en el caso de la piel use tonalidades un tanto mas rojizas con tonos durazno, rosa y un poco de rojo para la calidez en las mejillas; luego para los ojos use tonos más amarillentos y me esforcé en crearle una mirada tierna y también una sonrisa fija sobre el pequeño (Woolio) que se encuentra a su lado. Para el trabajo de la ropa utilice tonos marrones, grises y un poco de amarillo claro para crear una indumentaria vaquera acorde a lo que tenia en mente, para las piernas cree un pantalón marrón como de jeans, y para el torso cree una camisa vaquera clara con detalles dorados característicos de esta Sanadora. Como accesorio complementario para la Sanadora use tonos amarillos nuevamente para crearle un gran sombrero vaquero sobre su cabeza que hiciera juego con el estilo del personaje.
Finally I took care of building the scenery for my illustration, as my idea is that both characters were in a kind of boundary of the Ranch of the healer, I worked the ground with green tones creating some grass and vegetation; then with blue tones degrade the background and create a large blue sky right in the background of my work along with some clouds floating around there. In the case of the fence I used brown tones and my airbrush to try to replicate a stiff wooden plank texture, and with grays I created some nails in several areas of the fence. Finally, with a deep yellow color and my particle brush I created a small glow effect in the upper right area of my canvas to replicate the sunlight illuminating the scene.
Finalmente me ocupe de construir el escenario para mi ilustración, como mi idea es que ambos personajes estuviesen en una especie de lindero del Rancho de la sanadora pues trabaje el suelo con tonos verdes creado cierto césped y vegetación; luego con tonos azules degrade el fondo y cree un gran cielo azulado justo en el background de mi obra junto con algunas nubes flotando por allí. En el caso de la cerca o lindero use tonos marrones y mi pincel de aerógrafo para tratar de replicar una textura de tablones de madera rígida, y con grises cree algunos clavos en varias zonas de la cerca. Finalmente, con un color amarillo intenso y con mi pincel de partículas cree un pequeño efecto de resplandor en la zona superior derecha de mi lienzo para replicar la luz del sol iluminando la escena.
