¡El blanco y negro hace extraordinario lo cotidiano!
Black and white makes the everyday extraordinary!
Estuve en las calles de la ciudad de Caracas hace poco, y pasé por la Plaza Bolívar de la misma.
Quedé Enamorada de la arquitectura con estilo europeo que hay en sus alrededores.
Muchos de estos lugares están custodiados por policías y de más, por lo que, ¿La verdad? Tenía muchos nervios de sacar fotografías tranquilamente sin que fuera a sonar un pito a mis espaldas para que dejará la cámara.
Creo que los nervios se me notaban, me han sacado tantas veces de lugares hermosos en mi país solo por usar una cámara, que... Andaba predispuesta.
Lo cierto es que, disimuladamente pude sacar algunas fotos sin que se dieran cuenta.
Cuando admiras estos edificios en persona es un espectáculo, sin embargo cuando los ves en una imagen, para poder sacar su esencia, siento que lo mejor es verlo a blanco y negro.
De momento, no me habían gustado mucho estás imágenes... Tengo en mi mente un tipo de fotografía de calle que aún no he logrado alcanzar, pero al editarlas a blanco y negro mi opinión cambió.
Muchas de ellas tenían exactamente lo que quería resaltar. Quizá algún parecido a una fotografía de época, la cotidianidad en las calles, cada persona en su mundo... ¡Su realidad!
Pese a que a simple vista estas fotografías no tenían nada de relevante, el blanco y negro logra hacer extraordinario lo cotidiano.

I was in the streets of the city of Caracas recently, and I passed by the Plaza Bolivar in Caracas.
I fell in love with the European style architecture around it.
Many of these places are guarded by police and more, so, the truth? I was very nervous to take pictures quietly without a whistle blowing behind my back to get me to put my camera down.
I think my nerves were showing, I have been taken away so many times from beautiful places in my country just for using a camera, that.... I was predisposed.
The truth is that I was able to take some pictures without them noticing.
When you admire these buildings in person it is a spectacle, however when you see them in an image, in order to get their essence, I feel it is best to see it in black and white.
At the moment, I didn't like these images very much... I have in my mind a type of street photography that I have not yet managed to achieve, but editing them to black and white changed my opinion.
Many of them had exactly what I wanted to highlight. Maybe some resemblance to a vintage photograph, the everydayness in the streets, each person in his world.... Their reality!
Although at first glance these photographs had nothing relevant, the black and white manages to make the everyday extraordinary.
This is my #120th entry to the #monomad challenge.
