Splinterlands A Better Magic Card That's Not Water?

In today's post I talk about a magic card that is in the life splinter that I often use in battles. In fact when ever its a high mana match I tend to lean on this Gladius card more than I should be.

Captain Katie is a force to be wreck-en with as her stats are some of the best for a magic card. At base level she already has snipe and blood lust abilities. Add on top of all that a magic attack of three and a speed of three with a health of six this card can be a perfect middle to rare of the formation. I like to put her near the rear of formations just to keep her alive as long as possible. The snipe ability truly comes in handy.

In the battle take from snapshot it is life against my favorite water splinter. Of course what would make this even better is that my opponent mainly focused with magic attack.

After the first round with rebirth my opponent basically had their entire formation yet alive. What is key to note here is that their Djinn was hanging by a thread. It would not take long to penetrate through their defense and onto a easy victory. Or so I thought!

By the end of round two it was not as clear that I would be able to knock out Djinn as easy as I thought. The snipe from my Captain Katie hit but not where I expected. I had lost my tanker and attacker in Drybone Barbarian but it was an even five on five in battle.

By the end of the third round it was clear that this was more of a neck and neck match rather than an easy win for me. It came down to four on four but now my Captain Katie was tanker. Her blood lust help boost stats and now ready to go head on for the knockouts.

By the end of round five it was clear I would become victorious. Yet there were points in the match where my Captain Katie only had one health left and if it weren't for that she would have been knocked out and my formation likely decimated. For it was her only able to do front attack at tanker position while the remaining of my formation were range attack monsters.

It would end up taking more than six rounds to finish off my opponent but the end result was a sweet victory. The key here was my Captain Katie able to knock out opponents while also surviving to handle their blows. Her abilities and great stats is what I think makes her a great magic attack that is not a water splinter card. Have you seen other magic cards that work well but not in water splinter?
