Hello, dear hivers!! Welcome back to MIYA’s blog!! 💕 June 17 was a special day because it was our best friend Mj’s 17th birthday. After our class, she said she wanted to treat us to fries at Worthy Spot. I wanted to join, so I asked my mom for permission. I felt a bit nervous since my younger brother was with me, but thankfully, she agreed right away.
When we got to Worthy Spot, it was already a bit crowded. Many people were coming in, so Mj quickly ordered the fries before it became even busier. We had around ten people in total, so we needed to find a table big enough for all of us. Luckily, we found one, and we all sat together.
While waiting for our food, we started taking pictures. It’s kind of our thing to take a lot of photos every time we hang out. And of course, the usual topic came up, ofc crushes kase you know. They started teasing me again because of uhh secret HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I won’t say it here because it's embarrassing 🤪🤪 but let’s just say I was the main target of their jokes that day. But honestly, I didn't mind at all, I was actually enjoying it and they know it too 😭😭. We were all laughing so much and just enjoying each other’s company. Moments like this really make me feel thankful to have them. It's those little hangouts that become some of the best memories.
Hi Mj, happiest 17th birthday baeee !! We started out as strangers. I never thought that someday, you'd become one of the most special people in my life. We became classmates since grade 7 but in Grade 9, we got to know each other more. I can still remember the first time we actually talked, maybe it was just a small thing, maybe just a random group work or a simple joke, but look at us now. From awkward greetings to loud laughs, from small talks to sharing secrets and dreams, we’ve grown so much.
Mj, you're the kind of friend everyone needs in their life. You're kind, funny, smart (especially in math 🤪), and you always know how to lift someone up when they’re feeling down. I love how you share stories after class, how you randomly tell us about your day, and how your energy lights up the room even when we’re all tired from school. Even when you act like the youngest in the group, we all love you just the way you are. Never change, okay?
I’m so thankful that God allowed our paths to cross. You’ve been such a blessing in my life, and I can’t imagine going through high school without you by my side. I hope this friendship doesn’t stop here. I hope we get to celebrate more birthdays together, go on more trips, laugh at more jokes, and create more memories for the next years of our lives. No matter where life takes us, you’ll always have a special place in my heart. I pray that God will always guide you, bless you, and keep you happy and safe. You deserve all the love and happiness in the world. Happy 17th birthday again, Mj. I’m so happy I got to celebrate this special day with you. Love you always!
