On my previous outing I found a place to rest in Roonache, so today I will be exploring this area to see what I can get. If I manage to find a watchtower I will be able to unlock the map completely and be able to see the sights.
This area is quite large, to get from one shelter to another I need to walk 30 minutes in real life, that's not counting the detours that may arise due to problems on the road or animals that prove to be very easy to hunt. I must say that so far this place has seemed to me the most beautiful in terms of environment, it has areas with a very nice green, there are plains, slopes, buildings, an abandoned church that I found super interesting (I will show you pictures later).
Esta zona es bastante grande, para llegar de un refugio a otro necesito caminar 30 minutos en vida real, eso sin contar los desvíos que pueden surgir por problemas en el camino o animales que se muestren muy fáciles para cazar. Debo decir que hasta ahora este lugar me ha parecido el más hermoso en cuanto al ambiente, tiene zonas con un verde muy lindo, hay planicies, pendientes, edificios, una iglesia abandonada que me pareció súper interesante (luego les muestro fotos).
The time I have been walking around this area I have gotten more moose than usual as well as merrian wild turkeys. Of course I take the opportunity to hunt a few in search of a diamondback, I have never gotten one, so it's about time.
My first kill was a 521Kg male moose, I could see him by his warning calls, I hid very well and set up my rifle, at first I didn't have a clear view but after moving several times I could see his bare chest about 70 yards away, I took aim holding my breath and fired. The shot hit where I wanted and I was able to get a silver trophy.
Mi primera presa fue un alce macho de 521Kg, lo pude ver por sus llamados de advertencia, me escondí muy bien y preparé mi rifle, al principio no tenía una vista limpia pero después de moverme varias veces pude ver su pecho descubierto a unos 70 metros de distancia, apunté conteniendo la respiración y disparé. El tiro dió donde quería y pude conseguir un trofeo de plata.
Later on I was able to kill another turkey getting another gold trophy. And then walking towards a place of interest, I heard that a turkey was running away but I didn't see it, so I prepared my shotgun and saw that it was flying above me, I shot a couple of times, the second shot I was able to hit it, a beautiful white turkey with which I also got a gold trophy.
