En el 2021 era difícil que cualquier persona no hubiera visto alguna producción asiática, preferible de Corea del Sur; personalmente la primera de este tipo de producciones (serie de TV) que vi y disfrute fue "Squid Game", un thriller de supervivencia con muchos elementos de terror que me sorprendió por el hecho de creer que algunos (o todos) de sus personajes pueden existir en la vida real; cada episodio contaba con una carga excesiva de tensión, drama y suspenso que era imposible no dejar de ver y que al momento de finalizar la temporada, se sintió correcto sin importar el cliffhanger porque me sentí satisfecho con lo visto, pero en el mundo del entretenimiento el éxito es equivalente a su extensión lo cual siempre hace transitar a este tipo de productos en repetir ese éxito o ser un fracaso.

Este director, guionista y showrunner, nuevamente demuestra su calidad para crear a personajes víctimas del sistema, personas que cada día sueñan con cambiar sus vidas de una manera mágica sin importar las consecuencias, personalmente esto es lo que más me gustó de esta serie en donde se puede crear empatía y a la vez rechazo u odio a un número de personajes sin importar que tan predecible es la historia.
En esta temporada así como en toda la serie, la humanidad estará siempre en duda y es que la base de toda esta producción es ver hasta donde puedes llegar para alcanzar un objetivo que puede cambiar radicalmente toda tu vida, pero en esta oportunidad estoy completamente seguro que existe menos bondad de la que hubo en la primera temporada, esto recordando que la historia se relata desde el punto de vista de un hombre que dirige una serie de juegos mortales, es por eso que lo que ha vivido El Líder en muchos años es una masacre tras otra y entiende que la humanidad no existe como tal y que justamente los juegos solo acelera un comportamiento que cada vez parece ser más normal en la sociedad.

However, this time I am completely sure that there is less goodness than there was in the first season, remembering that the story is told from the point of view of a man who runs a series of deadly games. That is why what The Leader has experienced over many years is one massacre after another, and he understands that humanity does not exist as such and that the games only accelerate a behaviour that seems to be increasingly normal in society.
Otro punto positivo de las dos últimas temporadas es la interacción entre los dos protagonistas principales, "456" y "El Líder" son lo mejor de la serie, las actuaciones de Lee Jung-jae y Lee Byung-hun, son impresionantes, su lucha, su manera de ver la vida en donde ha existido tanta perdida así como sus decisiones es lo que más me ha gustado de sus personajes, es una clara referencia del Yin y Yang, siendo lo que más me enganchó en esta parte de la serie; a eso sumo (como dije anteriormente) la creación de excelentes personajes que son un claro representativo de la sociedad actual, me refiero a la apropiación cultural, a la diferencia de género y algo que me pareció muy relevante y es la generacional; en esta segunda y tercera parte, lo generacional es importante y creo que se plantea la pregunta de ¿Quién merece más, El Adulto o el Joven? Lo cual la respuesta al final seguirá siendo, el que se crea más inteligente, fuerte y, en este caso, el que se despegue por completo de toda empatía; esto es sorprendente y que nuevamente está muy bien desarrollado en la historia.
