As usual, I set out with my camera into nature on Saturday without even guessing what I would come back with. Will it be birds, butterflies, snakes, or primroses? You never know. I can never be sure whether I will bring back photos of a roe deer or a hawk from the feeding spot in the woods. Or whether I will bring back a woodpecker or a squirrel from the bird place.
By the way, squirrel.
Jako obvykle jsem v sobotu vyrazil s foťákem do přírody, aniž bych aspoň tušil, s čím přijdu. Budou to ptáci, motýli, hadi nebo petrklíče? Člověk nikdy neví Nikdy si nemůžu být jistý, jestli od krmelce v lese přinesu fotky srnky nebo jestřába. Nebo jestli z ptačího shromaždiště přinesu strakapouda nebo veverku.
Apropó, veverka.
Of course, it's spring, there is plenty of bird food in nature, so the birds are not interested in the feeders. Instead, a squirrel came and stuffed itself with sunflower seeds.
However, it was the butterflies' turn as well. The first to pose was the ballerina—the peacock butterfly. For those interested in technical details, it was photographed with a 600 mm telephoto lens from a distance of 3.7 meters. The advantage of such photography is that you don't have to get close to the butterfly, so you don't scare it away. The downside is that this setup is heavy as hell, and if you don't have a tripod, your hands can easily shake.
Samozřejmě, je jaro, v přírodě je spousta ptačí potravy, tak ptáci o krmítka nemají zájem. Místo nich tam přišla veverka a cpala se slunečnicí.
Nicméně ‒ přišla řada i na motýly. Jako první pózovala baletka ‒ babočka paví oko. Koho zajímají technické detaily, byla focená teleobjektivem 600 mm ze vzdálenosti 3,7 metru. Výhoda takového focení je, že nemusíte k motýlu blízko a nevyplašíte ho. Nevýhoda je, že tato sestava je těžká jak sviňa a když člověk nemá stativ, snadno se mu s tím roztřesou ruce.
The other two butterflies are the Orange Tip Butterfly and the Comma Butterfly.
The male of this white has striking orange tips on its wings, but I only managed to photograph the female, which is less conspicuous.
And even though it’s spring, and most butterflies are freshly hatched, the one with tattered wings looks like it has already been through something.
Další dva motýli jsou bělásek řeřichový a babočka bílé C.
Samec tohoto běláska má efektní oranžové konce křídel, ale mně se povedlo vyfotit jen samičku, která je méně nápadná.
A i když je jaro, a většina motýlů jsou čerstvě vylíhlí, babočka s potrhanými křídly vypadá, že už něco prožila.
The last representative of the wildlife here is the Common Rose Chafer. It doesn't look great in the photo, but in reality, illuminated by the midday sun, it looked like a small gemstone on a wild garlic leaf.
A poslední zástupce živé přírody je zde brouk zlatohlávek. Na fotce tak dobře nevypadá, ale v reálu, ozářený poledním sluncem vypadal na listu medvědího česneku jako malý drahokam.
