A coffee without coffee.
We love coffee, there is no day that cannot start with a modest cup of coffee, either hot or warm, perhaps natural, but there must be coffee.
But what would you tell me if I told you that on Santa tomorrow I came across a news story that a Start-up has created a cafe without using coffee?
It reads a bit illogical, crazy.
But they have affirmed it. And, this coffee also contains caffeine, but it is made from other seeds and not precisely from traditional coffee beans.
For the testing and preparation process, they carried out multiple tests on various types of plants, which they also subjected to the different types of processes that traditional coffee undergoes before reaching our hands. In addition, to achieve finalization of the taste and sensation that coffee produces when it comes into contact with the taste buds, they have carried out a specific molecular process (patented).
Why was this idea born?
The idea was born by the large carbon footprint that triggers all the coffee processing, which endangers environmental health.
Coffee not only has this characteristic, among the most harmful crops, cocoa is at the top of the list, and following our beloved coffee in short steps.(Why sir? 😣)
In view of this, it is that alternative routes are being created for consumers, but where the carbon footprint left is significantly reduced.

Obstacles?
Honestly, one of the main obstacles that Start-up called Atomo Coffee must face is the elaboration of a mixture that matches the unique flavor and aroma of coffee.
Another obstacle is encouraging people to consume coffee without coffee, and it is somewhat difficult to abandon the traditional cup of coffee for one that has left a laboratory in the middle of roasting various beans.
So one of the most complicated and perishable obstacles is to change the mentality of traditional coffee consumption, for a renewed version and totally friendly to planet Earth.
Personal opinion:
Without fear that I did not keep anything here between the reader friend and me, since I sincerely believe that I join the number of people who will remain tied to traditional coffee with its holy coffee beans. Maybe Atomo Coffee could come up with a renewed coffee formula, but for me: It's not coffee!
Let's see then what else happens with this and how it walks in the world. However, should I get a chance to test this formula, I will; but it won't replace my beloved coffee.
