We all have a favourite travel destination. A place where we want to travel and spend time. It may be at the country you live in or anywhere around the world. I have mine dream destination too. And it is one of popular tourist destination. I have many places on my bucket list. But the one place where, I would love to be at any given moment is Venice, in Italy, also popularly called as city of canals. Today, I painted my dream destination , over the piece of paper.
Venice, Italy, is famously known as a "city of canals" and is situated on a network of waterways, making it a popular destination for river cruises and boat tours. I have seen few Hollywood and Bollywood movies shots at the backdrop of beautiful Venice. Venice is a UNESCO World Heritage site, further highlighting its unique and important status. With no roads or cars, Venice relies on its waterways for transportation, making it a unique and car-free city. Putting up the dream into the piece of paper is never going to be easy. Still, I tried imagining myself standing over one such bridge over the canal. Here is the step by step process.
To draw the painting, I made use of my
- A4 size of white paper
- Black HB pencil for outlining
- Water color.
Standing on a Venice bridge, particularly iconic ones like the Rialto or Bridge of Sighs, is picturesque due to the unique combination of architectural beauty, stunning views, and historical significance. The bridges themselves are often finely detailed and reflect the city's rich history and artistic heritage. Moreover, the views from the bridges offer a picturesque perspective of the canals, gondolas, and the surrounding buildings, creating a visually captivating scene.
I am not sure, when the dream will becomes reality, but I am sure I will make it to the destination once in my lifetime. It is to early to decide or even plan for such abroad trip.
