Arcade Colony: Earned nice Leaderboards rewards, increased my COLONY stake and journey to 1 million stake.
I am still hooked with the Moonkart's game of the Arcade Colony, and in the current scenario, it is only game that I am playing along with Splinterland's. I have started playing many games in Hive, but I continued with Splinterland's only. In the current scenario it look like Moonkart is also going to cement it's place in my gaming calendar as Splinterland's. Moonkarts in its very first release has a lot of scope for development and enhancement in the game. One of the good thing is that when you started early in the game and keep your associated with the game, then you do not feel the "learning curve" in the game or learning curve remain same for all the players otherwise in other established games, you sometimes feel alienated or struggling, especially if community is not very active and supporting.
Currently, good thing is that Moonkarts community is active in Discord and you can interact with the other fellow players there and find it a graet place to buy cards instead of market. You can hit the bargain by interacting with whale asset holders for your buying needs. Actually Moonkarts market is not very active place and look like not every card listed there also. Even if you are buying cards in the Discord, make sure to take quote from 2-3 players there. I was able to get a card for $3 for which another player quoted $20 and card was not even listed in the market.
In the current Leaderboards of season 22, I am able to get good chunk of the COLONY rewards in Global leaderboard winning . having place at number 16. Overall I won almost 6000 COLONY token as rewards this time. I guess I can have better ranking than the current ranking but I am content with the current ranking too.
Road to 1 Million COLONY stake.
Since I already mentioned that , I am the active player in the Moonkarts now, so it make sense for me to stake more and more COLONY. If you are an active player and get played in the Leaderboards then your rewards can increase multifold based on your COLONY token stake, So more COLONY I stake, multiplier number will be more though rewards do not look directly proportional to stake and at current time, I am unaware that how the multiplier number is calculated and how much it increase the rewards. I am even not sure if team shared this information in the public domain or not but one thing is clear my rewards are almost double as compared with the fellow player who has got stake multiplier as 1 versus me who got stake multiplier close to 15.
So today, I not only staked all the COLONY rewards I got in Leaderboard but staked further more COLONY after purchasing in Hive Engine too. This time I did not converted any COLONY to script TOKEN, Though increasing stake of SCRIPT token is also a desirable option but I guess I am going to focus on buying cards and COLONY, to increase my position in the Leaderboards and increase my Leaderboard rewards due to my position and stake.
Still Buying cards.
I am still buying cards to improve my stats of the Kart. When I initially started with the game, handling kart was the concern. Once I mastered it, then I find that my fellow players were beating me with huge margins. Only answer to it is to buy the better cards.
For card buying, I am going with the very balanced approach, I am not going for Legendary cards that are very expensive, not I am going for cheap common and rare cards. It look like at current situation, buying epic cards fits in my budget and racing goals in the game.
