We live in an inherited environment which can limit us / Vivimos en un entorno heredado que nos puede limitar

Today I was watching a talk by one of the people I follow in the area of disruptive technologies and he mentioned a phrase that I found very striking, "We live in an inherited environment" with this phrase that may not emit much clarity, he tries to highlight that today's world and society require other skills and knowledge different from the inherited ones.

In other words, that environment is already outdated. A reality that alludes to this fact, are the development of new technologies that give way to the creation of facilities little imagined, there are few people who are building the future because that inherited environment can also limit us cognitively.

Each individual according to the environment where he/she develops will have beliefs and behaviors that will define part of the cognitive development of this citizen. Sometimes the environment is global, we do not dare to do certain things because no one in the world has done them, For example the athlete Roger Bannister broke a human record that was considered impossible, in the same way today there are challenges that inherited environments can make us seem that they will never be a reality.

Today, in my country, there are many adolescents affected by inherited environments, and inherited beliefs, and the current education system does not mean a job opportunity, then there is this great dilemma for young people whether to study at university to please their parents or what society thinks or dedicate themselves to build capital and then contribute in another way to the development of society.

Many are the challenges of these times, human evolution and the ability to support this civilization and avoid collapse is at stake. The caratas are on the table, it depends on us the results.

Hoy estuve viendo una charla de una de las personas que sigo en el área de las tecnologías disruptivas y mencionó una frase que me pareció muy llamativa, "Vivimos en un entorno heredado" con esta frase que quizás no emita mucha claridad, el trata de resaltar que el mundo y la sociedad actual requieren de otras habilidades y conocimientos diferentes a las heredadas.

En otras palabras, ese entorno ya está anticuado. Una realidad que hace alusión a este hecho, son el desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías que den paso a la creación de facilidades poco imaginadas, son pocas las personas que están construyendo el futuro debido a que ese entorno heredado también puede limitarnos de forma cognitiva.

Cada individuo según el entono donde se desarrolle tendrá creencias y conductas que definirán parte del desarrollo cognitivo de este ciudadano. A veces el entorno es mundial, no nos atrevemos a realizar ciertas cosas porque nadie en el mundo las ha hecho, Por ejemplo el atleta Roger Bannister rompió un récord humano que se consideraba imposible, de esa misma manera hoy día hay retos que los entornos heredados nos pueden hacer parecer que jamás serán una realidad.

Hoy día, en mi país, hay muchos adolescentes afectados por los entornos heredados, y creencias heredadas, ya el sistema educativo actual no significa una oportunidad laboral, entonces existe esa gran disyuntiva para los jóvenes si estudiar en la universidad para complacer a sus padres o a lo que piensa la sociedad o dedicarse a construir capital y después aportar de otra manera al desarrollo de la sociedad.

Son muchos los desafíos de estos tiempos, la evolución humana y la capacidad de soportar esta civilización y evitar el colapso está en juego. Las caratas están sobre la mesa, depende de nosotros los resultados.
