What's up guys? I'm back with more of my Devil May Cry guide. Last time, the last thing I told you was how to overcome the difficult battle against the giant scorpion, so get ready because what's coming is more challenging.
As soon as you start the fourth mission, turn around and enter the chapel again to access a secret mission; in this one, you have to get rid of a swarm of insects in a limited time. There are two equally effective ways to do this. With your handguns and a little patience until you finish with the necessary vermin or using a consumable item called holy water to finish the job quickly and without messing up your hair. When you accomplish this, pick up the blue fragment and leave the chapel.
Go down the corridor until the scorpion appears again (Surprise!). Until you reach the end of the corridor, you won't be able to do much because he will throw igneous projectiles at you, and he will advance without stopping. Run and dodge his lava balls until he stops, and then you will have two options: face him by hitting him in the face when you can, or cross the door at the end to access another secret mission, which will only appear if you have completed the previous one.
This secondary mission is quite similar to the previous one, although this time you can only use your feet to kill the hundred insects in 30 seconds. Luckily the room is not very big and if you manage to corner them the task will not be too difficult. When you finish, you will get the coveted blue orb fragment. These objects increase Dante's vitality.
Return to the corridor and go to the door on the left to get to the water fountain and place the object you have in the purple energy field; that will make it disappear. Then hit the lion statue three times and prepare to meet a new enemy: Shadow.
Be careful because he is very fast and does not stop moving, so do the same and shoot him when you can until he shows his heart in the form of an energy sphere. At that moment, attack him relentlessly as he is very vulnerable in this state. When you kill him, the seal on the door that has a lion face in relief will disappear, and you can go through it.
Then drop down from the top to activate the blue circle on the wall by hitting it repeatedly. Quickly get on the circle on the ground so that it lifts you up until you can jump to a platform where you can pick up the shining sword. Jump down one side of the platform to land near the door that you must cross.
In this bedroom there is a bed with several hidden red orbs if you climb on top of it. Nail the object to the statue's bust to make the Melancholy Soul fall. When Dante picks it up, his image reflected in the mirror will come to life and transform into the reckless Nelo Angelo. When he kindly invites you to join him, follow him and drop down to the lower courtyard.
This mysterious boss is very skilled with his sword. Thanks to it, he guards himself from Dante's thrusts and then performs powerful counterattacks. He also has the annoying ability to teleport. The best times to weaken him are when he taunts you or when he is about to throw energy balls. You can also dodge his swords to get behind his back and attack him with a sneaky but effective attack.
When you have lowered his life bar by a third, he will teleport to a higher ground. Jump up to reach him and hit him until his vitality lowers to one third; at this point, he will vanish to reappear even higher. Go after him and attack him until he finally bites the dust.
A scene will trigger in which both characters fight fist to fist. In a moment, Nelo Angelo will take the upper hand, but he will be forced to run away because Dante's amulet affects him, and that's the end of this mission.
When you take control of the demon hunter again, a 3-minute countdown starts, which is the time it takes to charge the Melancholy Soul. Then you will be attacked by another annoying Shadow. Follow the tactic that I told you before but quickly because time is against you. When you defeat him, the door leading to the bedroom will be unlocked. Go there and cross the door in front of you. Fall down the stairwell and use the Melancholy Soul on the blue door with the lion's head to complete this short mission.
If by chance you run out of time, you must go to the room that was accessed from the courtyard of the water fountain and in which there was a statue of an angel and a tomb that hid a trap door in the floor (I showed you that place in the previous post). There you will be able to activate the Melancholy Soul again in another statue in the same room and you will have another three minutes.
Anyway, that's all for now. Thanks to all who take the time to read and especially to those who have support me.
