What is it like to start at zero? That's the hardest place to be... at zero! You can't have your money to work for you because you've got nothing! It's hard.

But silver is perfectly suited for that! Anybody can start. Anybody who has $2.00 can get a Mercury Dime! But you have to develop a mindset... and repeat it over and over. It is a lifestyle change.

The South African Krugerrand was once available only as a gold bullion coin. 2017 marked the 50th anniversary of the Krugerrand coin. That year the first-ever issue of a silver coin was released.

The first release of a South African Silver Krugerrand came in 2017. To mark the 50th anniversary of the South African Krugerrand Series, the Rand Refinery and South African Mint issued two first-ever Silver Krugerrands. These new 1 oz silver coins included a proof version with a low mintage and a Premium Uncirculated version with a mintage cap.

There was an enormous interest that year in a South African Silver Krugerrand. Following its success, the new silver coin was made available and introduced as an annual choice.
