Hi hivers and game lovers,
Welcome to the blog of @southgamer, where I talk about games and anything gaming-related.
Of recent, it has been work, work, and more work for me, especially during the weekdays. So what I love to do is relax by playing games, every evening after I get back home and right before I go to bed. Sometimes, I even puzzle myself on how other corporate workers or 9 to 5 workers blow off steam after coming back home from a stressful day at the office.
Honestly, I hope they have some kind of relaxing activity like I do with gaming. How I still have the time to blog about my gaming experience is a miracle. Nah, I am just passionate about gaming and talking about it.
Well, today, I decided I want to do something that requires more action and little to no storyline, more like combat all through, without any form of strategy. Let me just fight and have a little bit of fun for at least an hour or two before bed.
My first option was to continue playing Bloodhunt since that happens to be my newfound gem, and you know we gamers tend to cherish a newly found game by playing it frequently until the next big time comes or the next eye-catching game lands on our sight. But on second thought, I suspect the game will require some precision and even utmost concentration if I know I want to win. So I had to pass on that one, probably next time, or over the weekend when I won't be having many tasks from work.
Finally, I remembered my favorite game, The Ghost of Tsushima, has a survival mode where your only goal is to defeat the Mongols and defend your territory. After I remembered this, I knew the game of night had been found, and all that was left was to connect my PS5 to my router and get busy.
When playing survival mode in Tsushima, you get to pick what place you would like to be placed in. For me, I chose The Shores of Vegenance. As the name implies, the destination is a shore, where there is a cliff, a beach, and a big boat.
My only tasks were:
-
Defeat the guards at the cliff.
-
Conquer the guards at the boat.
-
Defeat the guards at the beach.
Exactly what I was looking for, fight, defeat, and more fight with less storyline. I must admit, on my first play, the ghost was killed faster than I could blink. I guess it is because I haven't played in a while. I am losing my touch and techniques. Work, see what you made me lose.
Either way, on my second attempt, I lasted long, but things got wicked when I defeated the first set on Mongols on the cliff, beach, and boat. Then the next task was to stay within a specific circle while fighting multiple guards and Mongols attacking me all at once. Oh man, that was so much fun, and I ended up spending more than two hours playing, until my girlfriend told me to shut down because I have work tomorrow. Oh shit! that was the annoying part. I guess I will continue on another night.
See you in the next game.
I am @southgamer. Try gaming and thank me later.
