At midnight, my son and I began the celebration in the sweetest way possible, as is our tradition. We approached my husband with a little surprise, a chocolate candy, his favorite, while singing the traditional happy birthday song. It was a simple but meaningful moment, a demonstration of our love. He, with a smile full of happiness, enjoyed his little candy and hugged us affectionately.

His enthusiasm was so contagious that, without thinking twice, I decided to join him for a while, picking up some sandpaper and helping him with the task.
