Some art seen on a walk in downtown New Bedford
Good Morning have a great day
Here I plan on staying indoors and cool today with the temp expected to reach 99, a good day to stay indoors and cool
The other day I took an early morning walk, Starting at the port and then heading into the historic district
Taking photos here and thee and then I came up to the city hall and noticed these colorful murals, almost like big quilts
I am guessing they up as part of the Pride Month, and I am sure there wil be a fairly even mix of those who think this is great and those who are anti the idea and say it looks horrible.

I looked it up and the exhibit is entitled being seen, The project centers on a collaborative tapestry crafted from upcycled textiles, reflecting both personal stories and collective resilience.
I think it looks pretty cool myself
Here is one side of it
the piece is made from many contributors who range in age from 4 to over 80. Half of the participants are LGBTQ+ community members, while the other half are allies.
Originally it was planned for just here in New Bedford but apparently it has bene so poular and there have been requests for other cities to sow it, so that the plan now to move it over the next couple of years
