Why saving your wallet phrase is important: A story worth reading
I was not planning on making any post today but something came up that triggered me into writing such. Normally whatsoever project that I used that requires phrase when it comes to cryptocurreny I must ensure that I save mine. I have hinted that when it comes to cryptocurreny your secret phrase should be treated so special, this is because without it, you won't be able to access your wallet. I have seen and heard stories of how people lost their account due to their inability of not able to keep their keys safe. This is really painful because when this happens you will found out that they have big amount of money in their account.
Recently I wrote a post about your wallet keys after the recent rise in lost of cryptocurrency keys. All this happens because we are careless about our keys, if you value your keys so well, there is no way you will give it out knowing fully well that it is the access to your account and any other person with it means they can access your account. Despite the warning from such project when you are creating account with them, you will still see people falling prey to such cheap scam.
Recently somebody said he lost his asset, I asked how did that happened, he went ahead telling me that he was asked to provide his keys in a site, he did and that is how he lost his entire fund worth good amount of dollars. When he said this I was just surprised, I asked him what led to him falling for such cheap scam, he was unable to answer. Such a pity I must admit. I was just starring at his chat and was just shaking my head. I just don't know why some person's keep falling to cheap scam, it is really a pity.
Deviating from that and back to the topic of today, It is vital in all regards to have our phrase saved it is very vital. Now this is the story of what happened. I am really happy for this my friend, this is why when it comes to cryptocurreny you have to be up and doing. Take part in different activities and you shall benefit. Even though you didn't benefit now, just be patient, time is coming you shall surely see the reward.
When it comes to cryptocurreny some reward are instant while some takes ages. You just have to be patient and a day will come you will hit it big. The reason why some are still struggling today is because they lack that patient, they just wanted it so fast and this at the end sees them struggling. My friend chatted me today and said I should help him celebrate that he is damn rich. I asked how, he narrated.
He did an Airdrop four years ago and after the airdrop he said he kept his key so securely. Many people never see it coming that the wallet will fetch another money after years so many didn't save their keys. Now patient pays at last, after four (4) years the reward for saving his phrase resurfaced and at this time without your keys you won't be able to access the account.
An Airdrop came and it was the wallet that was needed to access the airdrop. He access his wallet and claimed the airdrop, after claiming, the airdrop was listed today and it was worth big amount of $$$. You just have to see how happy he his. I myself was really happy hearing such good news, it means a lot to me also. Now just imagine after how many years the phrase of that wallet which he saved ends up fetching him millions. He never saw this coming, in fact nobody saw it coming I must admit.
When you tell people to save their wallet phrase, they always think it is stressful. This is cryptocurreny, take every thing serious and you will see your lives changing. If you are lazy in this space you will have yourself to be blamed. Now you can see how such old wallet after years ends up changing lot of people's live. This shows that your wallet phrase should be kept and treated special, a time for great reward might come and you will surely be needing it. Learn from this story and be wise. Remain. Blessed.
