I moved my LEO stake to a second account for LEO curation
The desire to earn more curation rewards on Leofinance
To achieve that, I knew I would need a separate account for LEO curation. I postponed it for quite some time because I wasn't too active on Leofinance for a while but now that I am actively reading, publishing and earning again, I should also think about the curation rewards. Granted, my rewards are tiny in curation, as my stake is not that big yet, BUT I figured that I can start working on upping the curation rewards by at least making sure that the account curating on the LEO posts isn't drained by all the other communities.
I want to keep giving 100% votes
As my stake on HIVE is just at 1k it often feel stupid to vote low percentages. Whenever I read a great article, I just want to give it a 100% vote if I have enough power left. This was pretty hard following a few curation trails that usually drained my full available power of the day, meaning all the manual votes would be done at a lower percentage than I prefer.
Separating LEO and other curation
Now that I've created a new hive account using Ecency which was super easy to do, I started curating Leofinance article on that account and will not vote any of these articles manual from my main account anymore. For now (not sure about the future) I will keep writing from this main account and move the earned LEO tokens to @thisismylife.leo account after articles have been paid out.
Hopefully the curation rewards will get a little boost
I'm not expecting wonders, but I've moved the little liquid LEO to the curation account already, and am now powering down the LEO stake I had to do the same with these tokens. In a few weeks, there should be a higher stake and also some new earnings that I added along the way. I'm not considering doing the same for other tribe tokens yet, because I'm honestly most focussed on HIVE and LEO tokens. But who knows how I feel about that in the (near) future.
Do you use separate accounts to maximize your curation? If so, how many do you have? Any tips?
