Hello, film and series lovers...
If you were told that you only have one week left to live, what would you do with the rest of your life? How would you feel?
That's what Jung Hee Wan (Kim Min Ha)
In the midst of her despair over life. At the end of her pent-up guilt from the past, making Hee Wan feel no hope for life anymore.
But then, a light bulb went off. When she opened her eyes and heard a knock on the door from her apartment, she found a familiar figure who appeared and said that Hee Wan only had one week from the date of her death. That figure is Kim Ram Woo (Gong Myung). Her high school friend who died and became the grim reaper that will pick up Jung Hee Wan in the future.
WAY BACK LOVE
It started during April Fool's Day, and an idea from a female student named Jung Hee Wan to exchange names and make a scene in one class to trick the counselling teacher. Jung Hee Wan gets the chance to swap with Kim Ram Woo. The two of them really have a 180 degree different nature.
Kim Ram Woo, who is known as an outstanding and quiet student, must exchange names with Jung Hee Wa who is outgoing and likes to make a scene or you could say Hee Wan is a mood booster for those around her.
However, gradually, the two continued to exchange names and became close. Everyone at school also became accustomed to the exchange of their names to the school staff. They got used to calling Jung Hee Wan as Kim Ram Woo, and vice versa.
Like any clichéd love story, no one can be friends with a pure boy and girl. That's also what this name-swapping couple experienced. But luck cannot be denied, Kim Ram Woo had to leave Hee Wan at a young age. A tragic accident separated the two.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Jung Hee-wan (Kim Min Ha)
Growing up from a single father with one sister who is both girls, Hee Wan is a very lovable and brave figure. However, Hee Wan is a figure whose heart is very soft. That's evident from her role and the guilt that haunts her for the rest of her life.
- Kim Ram-Woo (Gong Myung)
As I mentioned above, Kim Ram-Woo is smart, and caring. He also has no enemies in his school. Kim Ram-Woo is a good protagonist and like in other films.
This web drama is only six episodes, so it is highly recommended for those of you who want to watch a romantic Korean drama with not many episodes. Besides, the acting of Kim Min Ha will never be doubted. I was even amazed to see Min-Ha's acting which looks very animated and natural.
Gong Myung is no less good. Although he's an actor who doesn't often get the lead role, but I think he may get a chance to play the lead role. Evidently, in Way Back Love, he can improve well.
So, if you're wondering what to watch this week, I suggest Way Back Love which is short and entertaining. Thank you for reading my review this time. See you in the next review.
