What's up plebs?!
Meet the latest addition in my silver collection:
1 Bolivar from Venezuela, minted in 1936.
If memory serves me right, this is my second coin of the kind, as I had acquired a few bolivar coins of various denominations some years ago.
Eventually I'd like to make an excel with all my coins, it would come really handy to track these kinds of things. But it's one of those things I leave for "tomorrow" and the bigger the collection gets the less motivated I am to do that.
Here are some close ups:
Condition is pretty decent for an almost 100 years old coin.
FYI, it weighs 5 g and has a purity of 0.835 silver giving us 4,175 grams of pure silver. That's about 4.35 $, which is about the price I paid for it
Which means that in today's modern Bolivar, it's actually worth about 400 Bolivar.. I guess money ages well when it's backed by silver and not government toilet paper ๐๐
Ok plebs, this is it for today!
As always, see you soon with more shiny ๐ค
