En esta ocasión les traigo un diseño muy bueno que me encanto, ya que parece a anubis o tiene alguna inspiración de este dios egipcio, lo colores son sencillos y planos, así que trataré de hacer una interpretación del diseño el cual el nombre está un poco curioso porque se llama Xolobis.
Buscamos principalmente la referencia que vamos a utilizar en nuestro diseño y esta especie de dibujo es un reto, decidí asemejar lo más posible a este arte y aunque muchas cosas no sean fieles al diseño original hay es donde entra mi estilo único.
Nos ponemos manos a la obra realizando nuestro boceto a lápiz y guiándonos de nuestra referencia, vamos a centrarnos en que nos quede lo más parecido posible.
Para este diseño quiero que demuestre o transmite esa fiereza de un animal salvaje y pueda expresar peligrosidad, ya que la anatomía es la de un perro, usaré eso como referencia para la expresión corporal del animal.

Una vez terminado el boceto, borramos todo para poder pintar y que el color no se nos manche, en esta oportunidad voy a utilizar colores, en los cuales utilizaré varios tonos de azul y amarillo.
Para su piel, que es de color negro, le realice una degradación del color, pasándole blanco en zonas específicas para poder dar la sensación de luces y sombras, ya que un negro plano perdería totalmente la anatomía del diseño.
COLOREANDO
Al momento de colorear siempre empiezo por el color base, el cual estoy acostumbrado a que sea un tono muy claro para luego ir oscureciendo donde podrían ir las sombras del mismo color y así sucesivamente.
El dibujo tiene muchos tonos oscuros, utilizaremos un amarillo mezclándolo con un rosa dando la sensación de vida refiriéndome a colores vivos o cálidos esta técnica aunque no se aprecie sucede lo mismo con el blanco solo es un degradado de colores, esto se puede dar solo con ciertas mezclas de colores.
Algo nuevo que utilice en este diseño es marcar de negro con marcador todo el diseño antes de pintarlos, ya que un amigo me sugirió este método y quise probar esta técnica, ustedes me comentaran al finalizar que tal les parece.

Once the sketch is finished, we erase everything so we can paint and avoid smudging. This time, I'm going to use colors, including various shades of blue and yellow.
For her skin, which is black, I blended the color, adding white to specific areas to create the impression of light and shadow, as a flat black would completely obscure the design's anatomy.
COLORING
When coloring, I always start with the base color, which I'm used to using as a very light shade, then darken where the shadows of the same color might go, and so on.
The drawing has many dark tones. We'll use yellow, mixing it with pink, to give a sense of life, referring to bright or warm colors. This technique, although not noticeable, is the same with white; it's just a color gradient. This can only happen with certain color mixtures.
Something new I've used in this design is to mark the entire design in black with a marker before painting. A friend suggested this method to me, and I wanted to try it out. Let me know what you think when you're done.
