I went for a walk today after the morning mass and covered distances though have not really noticed a resounding difference as I did the first time around where I jogged for shorter periods.
I was deceived and I believed it(walking and jogging are the same). Now I know better because I have tried both and know the difference asides my now researched knowledge.
Running burns more than twice as many calories per minute as walking. For a person who weighs 160 pounds, walking at a pace of 3.5 miles per hour for 30 minutes burns about 156 calories. Running at 6 mph for the same time burns about 356 calories.
I have been active and walking quickly for the past days today counting as the sixth day of my successful workout challenge.
I find my weight rather stagnant than a change although I feel healthy.
I have walked and done aerobics for six days which is a good start. It's high time I went back to my jogging routine where I noticed a tremendous difference in four weeks of jogging five to six times in a week all sweaty.
After taking pictures of the first two, it became a picture taking spree😁
I am alive, active and grateful . Hope you are too.
