Hey guys! How's everyone doing?
Today I want to show you a drawing I made about a month ago. It's one of my most recent works, and I created it for a contest called Bejondimaginarium. It was organized by a group of very creative people, and the requirement was to mint the artwork on Skurpy, an NFT marketplace.
There are 4 editions left of this piece

"Elyrionna, is born of cosmic breath and starlit wonder. Cradling the flame of creation, she exists between clouds and galaxies, weaving forgotten dreams into new worlds. A muse of the infinite, she awakens the beauty beyond the known."
To be honest, at first, I wasn’t planning to participate. I thought I wouldn’t have enough time, but a friend encouraged me. He said, “You’re still on time, let’s gooooooooooo!” So I jumped in and ended up participating.
For the concept, I started flipping through my sketchbook, looking for something that fit the theme. I found a sketch that wasn’t exactly my original idea, but I decided to adapt it. The first idea I had still seems like a good one, but I didn’t have it fully clear at the time, so I developed another one I had more in mind.
This drawing was quite a challenge, especially because time was tight. Still, I really enjoyed the process. I worked on it during a livestream, and the person I was streaming with was super fun. They made me laugh a lot, so the experience was really enjoyable.
I created most of the piece in Corel Painter, which is the software I usually use for this kind of work. I used brushes, textures, and worked on a single layer. Later, at the final stage, I had to switch to Photoshop due to some technical issues and because there were certain details I needed to fix there. They were things I didn’t quite know how to handle in Corel Painter at that moment.
The full process video is available on Twitter, but I also took a few clips to give you a glimpse of how everything came together.
In short, even though this wasn’t my original idea, I really loved the final result. Despite the adjustments and setbacks, I managed to adapt to the time I had and ended up very happy with the piece.
