Walking through the Plaza
Every city in Venezuela has a common factor and that is that in its historical center we will always find a square dedicated to Simon Bolivar, it is usually a space full of trees, with many bands and great beauty, fortunately throughout my life I have had the opportunity to meet many of them, but I must admit that the one in Caracas has a very particular charm, in it you can breathe history, power and freedom. It is a fairly large place, where we can walk without stopping, enjoying large trees, numerous squirrels and some sloths, always flanked by historic buildings, which even today are still fully operational.
Caminando por la Plaza
Cada ciudad de Venezuela cuenta con un factor común y es que en su centro histórico siempre encontraremos una plaza dedicada a Simón Bolívar, normalmente es un espacio repleto de árboles, con muchas bandas y gran belleza, afortunadamente a lo largo de mi vida he tenido la oportunidad de conocer a muchas de ellas, pero debo admitir que la de Caracas tiene un encanto muy particular, en ella se respira historia, poder y libertad. Se trata de un lugar bastante amplio, en donde podemos caminar sin parar, disfrutando de grandes árboles, numerosas ardillas y algunas perezas, siempre flanqueados por edificios de carácter histórico, que aun a nuestros días se mantienen plenamente operativos.
This time I had no commitments or work to do, so I took the whole afternoon to simply walk and take pictures of anything I found on my way, in order to de-stress a little and at the same time prepare myself for what will surely be a busy week, where the rain will be a constant threat and where the people of this city will lead me to test my patience, body and endurance. That is why this walk today serves not only to relax the body, but also to get in shape from this moment, for what will undoubtedly be 5 days full of fatigue and hopefully a lot of satisfaction.
En esta oportunidad no tenía puros, compromisos ni trabajos que realizar, por lo cual, me tomé toda la tarde para Sencillamente caminar y tomar fotografías de cualquier cosa que me encontrara en mi camino, para esta manera poder desestresarme un poco y al mismo tiempo prepararme para lo que seguramente va a ser una semana bastante atareada, en donde la lluvia va a ser amenazada constante y en donde la gente propio de esta ciudad me va a llevar a poner a prueba mi paciencia, cuerpo y resistencia. Es por ello que este paseo del día de hoy sirve no solo para relajar el cuerpo, sino también para colocarme en forma desde este momento, para lo que sin duda alguna serán 5 días llenos de cansancio y espero que de mucha satisfacción.
In a normal walk, relaxed, under a pleasant climate and with a quiet city, counting the steps by thousands is an easy task, it is for this reason that without having planned it when I returned home the counter was already in green, with which I am very satisfied, since fitness goal had been fulfilled in its entirety and, on the other hand, this means that the training done this afternoon, will be profitable to face a week that I am absolutely sure will be very demanding.
En una caminata normal, relajada, bajo un clima agradable y con una ciudad tranquila contar los pasos por miles es tarea fácil, es por esta razón que sin tenerlo planeado cuando regresé a mi casa el contador ya se encontraba en verde, con lo cual estoy muy satisfecho, ya que objetivo fitness se había cumplido en su totalidad y, por otro lado, esto significa, que el entrenamiento realizado en esta tarde, será provechoso para enfrentar una semana que estoy totalmente seguro va a ser muy demandante.
Downtown Caracas will always be a place where we will find a very friendly environment, where many people go from one side to another doing various errands, where children play with total freedom and where safety prevails over all things, it is also an area that stands out for having a great visual richness, as the old buildings and their characteristic colors are unmatched focal points, allowing us to enjoy some very beautiful blocks.
El centro de Caracas siempre será un lugar en donde encontraremos un entorno muy amigable, en donde muchas personas van de un lado a otro realizando diversas diligencias, en donde los niños juegan con total libertad y en donde la seguridad prevalece sobre todas las cosas, además es un área que se destaca por contar con una gran riqueza visual, ya que los edificios antiguos y sus características colores son puntos focales inigualables, que nos permiten disfrutar de unas cuadras muy bellas.
